Browse, order, pay andget the invoice —inside the chat
No link to a website. No switching to email. No customer lost between the question and the payment.
Commerce in chat lets a customer complete a whole order inside WhatsApp or Instagram. The agent shares your catalogue, confirms quantity, applies your pricing rules including bulk rates, generates a payment link from your own gateway, and issues a GST invoice the moment payment clears. For B2B it also produces quotations and proforma invoices, and it handles repeat orders in a single message.
The whole order, start to finish
| Step | What the agent does |
|---|---|
| 1. Enquiry | Customer asks about a product. The agent answers with price, availability and the bulk rate if the quantity justifies it. |
| 2. Selection | It shares the relevant catalogue items — not the whole catalogue — and helps compare or suggests an alternative if something is out of stock. |
| 3. Quantity and price | Confirms quantity, applies your slab pricing, adds GST, calculates delivery if applicable, and states the total clearly. |
| 4. Quotation (B2B) | For business buyers, issues a formal quotation or proforma invoice as a PDF, valid for a period you set. |
| 5. Payment | Sends a payment link from your own Razorpay, Cashfree or PayU account. Money goes directly to you — it never passes through us. |
| 6. Invoice | The moment payment confirms, issues a GST-compliant invoice with your details and sends it in the chat. |
| 7. Fulfilment | Order pushed to your store or your sheet. Shipping updates sent automatically as the status changes. |
| 8. What happens next | The customer moves to the Customer segment, and the post-purchase and reorder flows begin. |

It works differently for B2B and for online stores
| Question | B2B | D2C and online stores |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing | Slab and quantity-based rates, customer-specific price lists, negotiable within your ceiling | Fixed catalogue price, with coupon support |
| Document | Quotation, then proforma invoice, then tax invoice | Order confirmation, then tax invoice |
| Payment | Payment link, or credit terms with an outstanding tracker | Payment link, immediate |
| Reorder | “Same as last time?” — a single message repeats the whole previous order | Replenishment reminder timed to the product's consumption cycle |
| Order size | Usually large, often needs human confirmation above a threshold you set | Usually small, fully automatic |
| Who buys | Often a purchase manager acting for a company — the account matters more than the individual | The individual is the customer |
Your gateway, your money
Payment links are generated from your own gateway account. Funds settle directly to your bank on your gateway's normal cycle. We never hold, touch or route your money — we are not a payment intermediary and we do not want to be one.

Questions about commerce in chat
No. You pay a flat platform fee and nothing per transaction. Payment links run through your own gateway account and settle straight to your bank, so your money never passes through us. Your gateway charges its usual fee, which is between you and them.
Yes. They carry your GSTIN, HSN codes, the correct tax split between CGST, SGST and IGST based on the place of supply, and a sequential invoice number. You can use your own numbering series and your own template.
Razorpay, Cashfree and PayU for India, and Stripe for international payments. If you use something else, there is a generic payment-link integration that works with most providers.
Yes. WhatsApp's native catalogue and cart work alongside the agent, so a customer can browse and add to cart on their own. The agent steps in when they have a question or when they go quiet.
The agent sees the failure, tells the customer plainly, and offers to resend the link or try another method. The contact stays in the hot segment and the payment follow-up flow continues, so a failed payment does not quietly become a lost order.
Partly. It can issue an invoice with terms and track what is outstanding, and it will chase overdue payments on a schedule you set. It does not make credit decisions and it does not decide who qualifies for terms — that stays with you.
See it run on
your own catalogue
Send us your product list and we will set the agent up on it before the call. You will watch it answer questions about your own products, not a generic demo account.Thirty minutes. No obligation.
