About 15 minutes a week
Reviewing what the agent proposed and checking anything it escalated. That is the realistic ongoing time cost.
Three steps, about seventy minutes of your time, and no developer at any point.
Setting up 3xRetention takes about seventy minutes. You connect your WhatsApp Business number and Instagram account through Meta's official signup, which takes ten minutes. You then teach the agent your business by pointing it at your website, uploading your catalogue and setting your rules, which takes around an hour. The agent begins answering customers within 24 hours and starts building segments and follow-ups on its own during the first week.
You do the first two once. The third is the agent's job.
| What you give it | Why it needs it |
|---|---|
| Your website or sitemap | It reads your pages to learn what you sell, how you describe it, and the tone you use. |
| Your catalogue or price list | Products, variants, prices, minimum quantities, bulk rates. A spreadsheet is fine. A Shopify or WooCommerce connection does this automatically. |
| Your rules | The maximum discount it may offer. What it must never promise. Which enquiries go to a human immediately. Your delivery timelines and payment terms. |
| Your business type | B2B, D2C, online store, service or professional. This changes the agent's behaviour and changes what your dashboard reports. |
| When | What happens | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | The agent answers its first live customers. Every conversation appears in your inbox. | Watch. Correct anything it got wrong — those corrections teach it. |
| Days 2–3 | It has seen enough conversations to start grouping contacts by intent. | Nothing. Check the segments look sensible. |
| Day 4 | It proposes the first retention flow — usually payment follow-up, because that is the fastest money. | Approve or adjust the approach. |
| Week 2 | Cart recovery and win-back flows go live. The first recovered orders appear. | Check the numbers against the holdout group. |
| Week 3 | It starts suggesting flows specific to your business that you did not ask for. | Approve the ones that make sense. |
| Week 4 | You have a full month of baseline data. The first real retention rate reading. | Decide whether to move from Approve to Auto. |

When it answers something badly, you correct it in the inbox. It does not repeat the mistake.
New products and price changes need to reach it. Connected stores sync automatically; a spreadsheet needs re-uploading.
The agent decides who to contact and when. What you are willing to offer them is still your call.
No. The whole setup is done through a browser — connecting your number, uploading a catalogue and writing your rules. The only step that occasionally needs help is creating a Facebook Business Manager account if you have never had one, and we will do that with you on a call.
Yes, but it has to be migrated off the WhatsApp Business App first because a number cannot be on both at once. The migration takes about a day, keeps your chat history, and we run it for you. If you would rather not risk your main number, start on a second number.
Payment follow-up usually produces something in the first week because it works on orders that were already nearly closed. Cart recovery takes two to three weeks to show a pattern. Win-back and repeat-purchase effects take a full buying cycle, which for most businesses means 30 to 90 days.
You will see it in the inbox and you can correct it there. The correction becomes part of what it knows. During the first week we recommend running in Approve mode, where nothing sends without you seeing it.
Your rules — the discount ceiling, what it must never promise, when to hand over to a person. That is a page of plain English, not a flowchart. The agent writes the messages.
Send us your product list and we will set the agent up on it before the call. You will watch it answer questions about your own products, not a generic demo account.Thirty minutes. No obligation.
Pick a time that works. Share a catalogue, price list or website link when you book and we load it into the agent before we speak.

You ask it the questions your customers actually ask. We show you the segments and follow-ups it would run.
